Short Blurb: Drawn to Lyric despite her inability to trust, he’ll do anything to own her heart.
Will secrets and misunderstandings send Lyric running again? Or will David finally save her from herself?

Excerpt :
Sebastian enters the room, and everyone straightens up. After calling the meeting to order, his eyes focus on me. “Ah yes, everyone,” he starts, “We have a new team member. This is Lyric and she’ll be covering all the local acts.” He motions towards me, and I smile shyly at everyone. I hate being put on the spot like this. “Tell everyone a little bit about yourself Lyric.” Great, so we’re back in high school.
I stammer, “Uh, well, hi. My name is Lyric, and I just moved to Nashville from Manhattan. I graduated in December from Columbia and I’m excited to be working with you all. I can’t wait to hear Nashville’s local talent!” Thankfully, after that lackluster description, Sebastian says nothing as I sit down. Ben must be silently laughing at me because his shoulders are shaking uncontrollably. I know it’s not because he’s crying for me!
I don’t have much time to dwell on Ben’s laughter or my own less than stellar introduction, because Sebastian quickly moves on to berating everyone for last week’s articles. Apparently, he’s convinced at least half of the staff lied about their journalism or english grades because “it was all crap.”
After spending almost fifteen minutes telling us how much we suck, Sebastian finally moves on to finish the meeting handing out everyone’s assignments. Because I’m new, I have nothing to write a review on this week, so he’s sending me out with Ben to “make some contacts” because there is a big concert this Friday. Ben’s got media passes for backstage at the Kings of Leon concert, and he’s doing an interview with the band. Sebastian asks me if I even know who they are, and I frown. Ben laughs, and tells him, “If she didn’t, I’m sure she’s read Fifty Shades, so she does now.” My face starts flaming, and I can’t say anything.
Sebastian snorts out a laugh, and begins giving everyone else their assignments. When he’s done, he calls the meeting to an end, and leaves us all sitting around the conference table. Once he’s out of hearing range, I turn to Ben and hiss, “Really? Did you have to put me and Christian Grey in the same sentence?”
Ben laughs harder, “Oh please, you know you read it. And if you haven’t, girl you better get on that! I’d leave Toby in a heartbeat for a night in the RROP” I am so not having this discussion with Ben, even if we do share a love of all things fifty.
I slap him, “Oh my God, Benjamin!”
He points a finger at me, “I knew it! You did read it! You dirty slut!” This whole exchange is surreal, but after that statement, I can’t do anything but laugh. I put my head in my hands and just let it out. Ben, however, thinks I’m crying, so he starts apologizing profusely. “Shit, L, I’m sorry! I was just teasing! You’re not a dirty slut at all!” At that, I can’t help but snort, and he knows I’m not upset.
“Bitch,” he mutters, “I was really worried!”
“Sorry Ben! It was funny though,” I tell him and bump his shoulder with mine before standing to walk out of the conference room.

Short Blurb: Peyton Williams is spoiled, entitled and a little too stuck up.
Wyatt Parker is the boy from the wrong side of town. Spending this semester tutoring a friends snobby roommate wasn’t what he envisioned, but Peyton quickly gets under his skin.
Peyton never wanted more until she met Wyatt, but is she willing to be what he needs?

Excerpt:
Wyatt keeps his hand on the small of my back while we walk inside and doesn't remove it until after we've gone to the counter to pay. While we're waiting for our turn on the go-karts, he starts telling me how to operate one.
"The trick with go-karts is to not jerk the wheel. Just be smooth and keep from putting the kart in a bind. In other words, hold your line fairly straight, turn as little as possible but still make the turn as close as possible to the inside."
He's completely serious when he says this but all I can do is gape at him. Those instructions made no sense whatsoever to me, but since I'm pretending like I know exactly what's going on, I nod my head and tell him, "I've got this. Are you ready to get your ass handed to you pretty boy?"
Wyatt steps back, "Pretty boy? I'm no pretty boy babe. If you only knew how untrue that nickname is."
"Untrue? You are a pretty boy. Look at you Wyatt, It's Sunday, you're wearing a button-up collared shirt and nice jeans. I'm wearing yoga pants and a sweatshirt. I bet your mom still picks out your clothes doesn't she?"
Lifting an eyebrow, he leans closer to me and says, "Peyton, no one picks out my clothes but me. However, if you'd like to apply for the position, I'll gladly let you play dress up with me."
Oh he knows how to push my buttons. Placing my hands on his very solid chest, I push him back. I'm not stupid; I know he let me push him back. He's so much taller, and so muscular, I know he could have easily stayed all up in my space but he moves back until we're no longer touching.
"You're an asshole, ya know that?" Gah, just when I think that maybe I should take Scarlett's advice, he shows his true colors and I remember why I don't want to like him.
He has a huge smirk on his face when he replies, "Whatever. C'mon pretty girl. Let's put your money where your mouth is."
Ugh. I just want to slap that smirk off his face. "Money? Who said we were playing for money?"
"It's just an expression, Peyton. We aren't playing for money." I start to relax, but his next words make me tense right back up, "We're playing for information."
"Information? What kind of information?" My voice actually squeaks at the end of the sentence. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. What kind of information could he possibly be interested in?
Wyatt grins, but it's not exactly friendly. It's more the smile a predator has right before it goes in for the kill, "Whomever wins gets to ask a question. The loser has to answer. You can't take a pass, there are no dares, just honest answers."
I'm now backed into a corner. I acted like I could beat him at these races, but I've never so much as sat down in a go-kart, let alone tried to drive one. If I back out now though, he'll think I'm a coward and I'll never live it down. Raising my chin, I agree to his terms and his smile widens. Shit. I'm so screwed.

Short Blurb: Now my life is full of secrets. The people around me have been affected by the choices I’ve made and the lies I’ve told. But what will they do when they discover the biggest secret of them all?
Jeremy is everything I shouldn’t want, and the person I can’t live without.

Excerpt:
Mel’s eyes narrow and she stalks over towards her. “I hope you’re happy,” she says, pointing a finger at SB’s chest.
SB stops dead in the middle of the room and her eyes widen when she sees Mel’s tear-stained face. “Um, I’m sorry?” She looks between us both, her brow furrowing in confusion. “What’s going on?”
“What’s going on?” Mel laughs, but it’s humorless. “You want to know what’s going on? That’s rich. I was hoping you could tell me!” Her voice rises as she speaks, and she looks a little scary. I can’t blame SarahBeth for moving away from her slowly. It doesn’t stop Mel though, she just follows her as she rages. “We’ve been together for three years, and suddenly, he tells me that we can’t be together any longer.” I didn’t think it was possible, but SarahBeth’s eyes get even wider. “I can’t help but think that it has something to do with you, SarahBeth.”
“I…I….” SarahBeth stutters, completely stunned. The bags she was carrying when she walked into the room have long since fallen to the floor as she tries to process what’s going on here.
She looks to me for guidance and I shake my head before returning my attention to Mel. “Melanie, this has nothing to do with SarahBeth. I told you, I just don’t want to be in a relationship right now.” The excuse sounds lame even to my ears so I’m fairly certain that Melanie won’t buy it either.
“Right, Jeremy. Nothing at all to do with her, huh?” Her eyes narrow as she holds my gaze, but I won’t be the first to crack. I stare silently back at her, unwilling to acknowledge her concerns, until finally she huffs and turns away. “Whatever. I’m sure as hell not going to stand here and argue with you about it. I have more self-respect for myself than that.” Then, turning to SarahBeth, she says, “If there truly isn’t anything going on here, then I’m sorry for bringing you into our argument. Somehow though, I really doubt that that’s the case.” With those words, she gives me one last glare before leaving the room and slamming the front door behind her.

Short Blurb: I’ve loved SarahBeth in one form or another her entire life. The steps that brought us closer together weren’t easy for me to take. After letting her dictate our relationship, I’ve found myself practically homeless and estranged from my closest friends.
Now I’m left trying to move on, finding a new place to live and getting everything I need in order, while she’s trying to mend her broken heart. There’s just one problem…SarahBeth’s still keeping secrets – and her secret just might change everything.

Excerpt:
Hope can be both wonderful and awful, but the death of hope is just plain painful. That day I began seriously doubting Jeremy’s love for me. I just couldn’t believe that after everything he was choosing not to see me, rejecting me once more. Jeremy had become my everything... even though he’s everything I shouldn’t have. He is the first and only man I’ve ever loved, my only lover, more my best friend than Livvie and yet he continues to turn me away. It makes me doubt every single thing we’ve ever been to each other.
Her eyes widen slightly in recognition, she remembers me. That will make the rejection even more humiliating if she tells me I’m still on Jeremy’s “don’t want to see” list. “Can I help you?” Her voice is so snotty. The condescending way she’s speaking to me makes me want to yank her obvious extensions out and claw her eyes out with my now non-existent nails.
I open my mouth to tell her I’m here to see him when the voice I’ve been dying to hear asks in disbelief, “SarahBeth?” Squeezing my eyes shut, I turn to face him. When I open them, Jeremy’s the only thing I see. I soak in the sight of him, dressed in a navy blue suit, wearing his square black glasses and looking like he’s not shaved in a couple days, I say nothing; finally being in his presence has rendered me speechless.
“What are you doing here?” He asks, his voice is stern, his eyes hard and cold and completely different from the Jeremy I know. He doesn’t make a move to touch me, but I can’t keep myself from moving closer to him. My heart breaks a little when he steps back, keeping the distance between us.
Giving him what I hope is a reassuring smile, I say, “I came to talk to you. I need to talk to you. I’m…” my voice breaks and my hand goes to my heart, an unconscious act of self- protection. “I’m so sorry for everything. For not...“
“Stop.” Jeremy holds up a hand, looking around us at the curious audience we are attracting. The tension between us is obvious, and everyone likes a real life soap opera.
Suddenly self-conscious, and fully aware that he’s not the person who likes his personal business out there for the world to see, I ask, “Can we talk for a minute? I’ll go anywhere you want.” I’m close to begging, terrified this isn't going to end well. He doesn't say a word, just nods as he gestures to the hallway where I know his office is.
As we walk past the reception desk, the girl behind it glares at me. It’s immature of me, but the nerves fluttering in my stomach and the insecurity I’m feeling comes out as snark. “Guess I don’t need your help after all.” Her glare deepens and I hear Jeremy sigh behind me.
“Behave yourself, Sarah Beth.” Then, he says to her, “Hold my calls until I tell you otherwise, okay Tonya?” She nods, smiling widely up at him as he follows me back to his office in a way that makes me want to shank her. I hate feeling jealous over other women. It just reminds me where we were a few short weeks ago. He doesn't speak, doesn't touch me, just follows along behind me, the small distance between us feels insurmountable.
