Lady Triona McKee has been left to fend for whats left of her clan after her husband and most of their clan were taken by fever. Triona is dealing with a very essentric neighbor who wants her land and he also feels that a woman should not be a Laird. Arianna Lady Triona's cousin has come to visit with 5 of her kinsmen . Lady Triona finds she has a strong attraction to one of the men Sir Brett Murray. But to his shock in thinking Lady Triona a woman of no strength she proves his theory all wrong. Can Lady Triona and Sir Brett see past everything that happens and find love with each other? This book is so very Hannah Howell. There is Romance, Strength and Love of family. I love highlander books and Hannah Howell writes them spectacularly...
