First let me say Rue Volley is a NEW to me AUTHOR.. BUT WOW
!!!! This book just simply ROCKS !!!
You get a bit of
everything in this book from Fallen Angels , Vamps, Demons, Vikings, Romans,
and of course the Hounds of Hell ..
We have Halo Bay
who is a 26 soon to be 27 yr old who has been abused by men since high school.
The latest being Kelly Travis who is a SADISTIC pig to say the least. He comes
in one night after a long night of drinking and demands a sexual act from Halo
who finally has had enough. He punches, kicks, and then stabs her. But she
finally gets revenge on him and WOW does she ever. All Halo knows is that some
where after all the fighting a person in the shadows is asking her if she
chooses to go to Hell or come with him. She of course takes the latter option.
When she awakens
she asks the person where she is and he says Purgatory. Halo then gets branded
and although it hurts it’s a different type of hurt. She learns she is still technically in Hell
and must pass a test given by non other than Lucifer himself. She then finds out the person who rescued her
is Gunnar. Halo thinks Gunnar is the
most sexiest thing she has ever seen and Immediately the attraction and heat
sizzles between Halo and Gunnar.
Gunnar lets Halo
know she must train very hard. She asks
what it is exactly she has become and He informs her she is now a HELLHOUND.
One night after
training Halo asks Gunnar some pretty personal questions . He tells her how he
came to hell is because he killed Cesar for raping and abusing his sister whom
also was a Hellhound . He lets her know his real name which is Marcus Juneus
Brutus and Halo is in awe of this man. He not only is a Hellhound though J Read the book
to find this part out Im not sharing all the secrets J
Put it this way
without giving anything more away .. HELL hath no fury like a woman scorned
!!!!

being reading book 2 ..
