In this book we
have friends who have special powers including witches, seers, angels, and
elemental beings.
Skylar has no love
for her mother and blames her for her fathers death.
Skylar's father
had let her know before his death that she was special and after she turns 18
things start happening.
Her friend Sandra
gives Skylar and her friends something to drink that gives them power. Sandra
turns out to be more than a friend which is a shock for Skylar.
Skylars friends
are just as special as she is.
Skylar is riddled
lately with horrible nightmares of whats ahead for them. They must battle
fallen angels to save the world.
Skylar lost her
dad at a young age to suicide or did she?
She is so thankful
she has her best friend Rhiannon to lean on. Blaze is Rhi's brother and Skylar
has always adored him since they were young kids but she has never been able to
tell him how she really feels about him.
Then Skylar learns
another secret and now needs to find them to help in this battle. Can they win
the battle?
Picture the
Fantastic Four in a Paranormal setting this book reminded me of them while I
was reading it which is not a bad thing.
I enjoyed reading
this book although it was well into the story that it grabbed me.
