New to me author.
Kat is a young
girl who is being raised by her drunk and abusive mother. Her older brother
Drew has already moved out and Kat is just waiting till she is out of school so
she can do the same. One night though after one of her mother’s drunk
boyfriends makes the moves on her Kat calls her brother and his friends come to
get her out and deal with the drunk.
Cole is part of a
mobster family more or less although not all know that the family is Mob. He is
deadly, and Sexy and now he says Kat is his.
They go through so
much together and the big secret Kat has will likely tear them apart. Only
Coles father knows of her plans.
This was a really
good book it kept me reading til I was finished however there were missing
words and other errors and could use a good go over by an editor or
proofreader.
I enjoyed the
action, and the romance although hot it was not over the top. I hope to read
book 2 in this series very soon.
