This story is
about a woman and her daughter in-law who are both livid to learn they are
being cheated on by their spouses. They both decide to move out and move into
an apartment building close to each other. Leanne was with her husband Sean for
almost 35 years and she feels her son Jake has learned to be just like his father.
Many things transpire and Leanne finds herself back in the home she once had
with Sean but its not as welcoming she would have liked it to be. Nichole was
only married to Jake for 5 years and they have a son Owen. Jake is no longer
going to be the person Nichole wants or needs and she is determined to stand on
her own two feet. That is until the night she backs into a ditch and runs right
into Rocco.
I enjoyed this
story as it has many facets that could be true to life and I felt a kinship to
these very strong and determined women.
I was gifted a
copy of this book for my honest review.
