AWOL

I have read the previous three installments and now I am finally getting to learn so much more about Quin. He seems so screwed up and we learn how he came to own Artos his faithful dog. He escapes the military and is on the run. Augustus is mentioned in this book as well and we learn about Ryker also. I have to say I really enjoyed learning about the guy who eventually wins the heart of Lex and breaks it as well. We also learn how he meets Lex's mom.
Quin has to gone through hell and comes out on the other side. All of this is set well into the future.
Thank you to the author for giving us more insight into this hero and young guy who won our hearts in the previous books.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

Legacy (Legacy #1)- reviewed 1/30/2015

First and foremost I am not an avid reader of the dystopia genre. With that being said.

A young girl named Lex is thrown into a life she knew existed but never thought she would have to be in but her mother sends her out on a quest.
She is unsure who to trust. Enter Quin the guy who thinks he is all that and these two have a connection.

Its all futuristic the year 2041 in San Francisco , there is action and suspense that you would expect to find. Very well written and aimed toward the younger readers of about 13 + its a futuristic view of perhaps the hunger games.

Prophecy (Legacy #2)- reviewed 6/24/2015

This is the second book in the Legacy Series and I must say I truly enjoyed it. It picks up where book one left us. Quin and Lex are still a couple although they go through many bumps in the road in this one. Quins dad has been arrested and for what else? Murder of his current wife. Quin is doing everything he can to get his father freed. Lex however is in a battle for her life against the evil Augustus. There is a new drug of choice now and Augustus seems to think Lex knows the formula or where it is. Quin knows about the prophecy but he never told Lex so now what will she do? Lies have been told to her so she is at odds on who to believe anymore.

Can this couple get through all that is thrown at them?

Fantastic futuristic story and the plot just thickens for these two courageous young people. I truly enjoyed this book in the Legacy Series although it does leave us with a cliffhanger.

Revelation (Legacy #3) - reviewed 2/11/2016

This book picks up where book 2 left off. Lex is still with that horrible Augustus and Quin is still far away from her. They must deal with the drug issue before there is no one left. Lex' friends think she should move on and keep trying to set her up on dates but her heart belongs to Quin however does his still belong to her?

The author has really picked things up in this series. We get so much more depth and feeling and the action/suspense is off the charts. Again it's a genre I was not familiar with but it has opened my eyes. If you love futuristic, plot thick books grab your copy. I would highly suggest you start with book 1 in this series.
