New to me author.
Warning: This book deals with abuse, drugs, and many other things.
Wow where to start with this book. It is a fantastic story although an emotional roller coaster. Courtney is now 17 years and is tired of being a punching bag to her drunken father. Running away is her only option.
While on the run, she meets some kids who are roughly her age and runaways. They are all thrust into a life of drugs and crime. Courtney has to learn whom she can trust and finds everything so hard but that which does not kill you makes you stronger or at least she is praying.
Courtney meets Braxton who wants her but he is also offering her freedom but will that truly happen? Well grab the book and find out.
The book does have grammar issues IE: missing words. However, the story line is strong.
I was gifted this book for an honest review.
