REVIEW
This is a
wonderful romance book. We have a couple who were once best friends and now
they are both back in their home town and things may have changed but for the
good or bad?
Drew hates that he
has had to come home for the holidays but he promised his grandmother he would.
However, his brother Rob and his wife who is someone Drew would rather forget
about are there also.
What shocks him
the most is the woman he met at the bar the previous night is also sitting at
the dining table only he had forgotten who she was. Piper does not know what is going on with
Drew and Rob but she knows something terrible must have happened between the
brothers. Piper is so happy to meet back
up with the man who was once her best friend and just maybe if the fates see it
he can be more.
Ellie it seems
doesn’t have any friends left. Although Piper is now Ellie’s son Jacks teacher,
she really doesn’t want anything to do with Ellie.
Piper will hate
her even more so when Drew finally tells he what went on between himself, his
brother and Ellie.
Can Ellie mend Drew’s
broken heart?
Can Drew be the
best friend to Ellie he once was and even more?
I really enjoyed
this very well written book. The characters are very strong and very believable
so much so the story just drawls you in from start to finish.
I was gifted a
copy of this book for my honest review.
