New to me author.
We have Haylee who
has so much damage from something that happened to her when she was still in
high school. No one believed her, no one stood up for her, not even her
parents. While in college, she and her roommate Stacy become best friends but
Haylee still has never told her secret. Haylee is invited to Stacy’s family’s
home for the holidays. Stacy has 2 brothers and Zander is immediately smitten
with Haylee. Nothing happens between these two and as the years pass his love
for Haylee just blossoms even more. Finally, Haylee agrees to a date with
Zander.
The night of their
very first date Haylee’s past runs into her literally. Now the time has come
that she opens up to Zander about what happened to her all those years ago. She
feels so damaged inside but has finally told the family she loves at least two
of them what truly happened to her.
Zander is
determined to be there for Haylee but can he get her through this dark time?
Can Zander save
her from herself and her past?
Can she finally
let go of the nightmares that have haunted her for so long?
This book drawls’
you in and does not let go. Fantastic story of love can conquer all even things
that leave you scarred and damaged.
